The Role
This opportunity will be one of the first strategic sales hires for Foundation Health. This role will play a significant role in further expanding our partner and customer network globally.
You will be responsible for identifying, managing, and closing new business with prospects and existing clients.
You will build and refine our GTM strategy, oversee large-scale deal negotiations, scale the sales function, refine our product/market fit, and supervise the overall sales operations to ensure alignment with our corporate objectives.
Your target audience will be top executives across health insurers, providers, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and consumer health brands. You will engage with leaders in strategic planning, corporate development, and product innovation teams.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of success in similar industries to the ones you will be serving.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Articulate Foundation Health’s business value, assess use cases, and qualify buying interest
- Lead outbound prospecting campaigns and represent company at events to generate qualified leads
- Research target accounts, identify decision-makers, and generate interest
- Conduct calls, meetings, demos, and high-level conversations throughout the sales pipeline with Senior Executives
- Build, nurture, manage, and close pipeline and deals, seeing sales through to implementation
- Work with other internal teams to support and close deals effectively
- Continuously position Foundation Health to best suit the needs of prospects
- Refine sales processes and infrastructure
- Lead negotiations and manage the contracting and pricing processes to ensure competitive terms
- Leverage CRM and other sales tools to maintain customer engagement and pipeline management
- Internal reporting on high-level metrics
We're Looking For Someone With:
- 5+ years of enterprise sales experience
- Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, and digital health sectors
- Knowledge of the US healthcare system, including health plans, insurers, manufacturers, and PBMs
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Proven track record of positioning, messaging, and setting strategy
- Experience selling technical/complex products
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance issues in the healthcare sector
- Proven ability to develop executive-level relationships
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and negotiation skills
Desirable but Not Necessary:
- Experience working in early-stage startups
- Experience navigating PBMs and insurance formularies
